The Ceremony

The wedding ceremony will be a civil service, which will be held at St. Paul 's Chapel, St. Paul 's Bay, Lindos, on the 8th September 2007 at 16:00.

As we are not Greek orthodox, the ceremony will be held in the small courtyard in front of the Chapel. This means we will have the beautiful backdrop of the sparkling blue sea and the panoramic views that the Bay provides. The Chapel will be decorated with two floral flower stands and a floral arch with red carpet (which is good as it goes with our colour scheme!) :)

As the Ceremony is quite short we intend to personalise it more with a personal reading. The ceremony will only last about 10 minutes; Photos will then be taken at the chapel after the ceremony. Please note confetti can not be thrown in the courtyard but allowed from the steps down. (Which we have been told makes for a very nice Photo!)

During the cruise the Bride and Groom will be releasing 100 helium balloons!

Guest will need to be at the Chapel NO LATER THAN 3:30, where you will be greeted by the Groom, Best Man and the Wedding Planner Karen. Please note no seating is provided, so you may want to consider suitable footwear!
